AC wrote… I’ve learned about a true African American named Emmett Till; he was very interesting to watch and learn about, but way graphic.  I also learned some math: I learned about t-tables and how to plot them on a graph.  And I learned about helping people with their problems.  The person that helped us most was Mr. Foskett, he was really awesome.  The best thing about this year was having Mr. Wright for a teacher.  Without her I would have never made it this far, she was the one who I came to school to learn for.  She helped me get good grades, she didn’t fail me or anything. To me she is the best teacher in the whole wide world… Miss Coffey also helped me with stuff. She is the best teacher. Also they both inspired me to a better career. Thanks Ms. Wright & Mrs. Coffey

JW wrote: This school year I learned U. S. History, Environmental Science, World Geography, and Algebra II.  Algebra was the hardest class I couldn’t quite grasp the concept behind it.  Science was definitely the easiest out of the bunch considering it was all basically review.

The best thing about this year was probably having the personal type of relationship with the teachers.  It helped us get through the year.  Our classroom was more like a big family than a class.  We all cared about each other.  In most classrooms the teachers would kick you our for back talking, but since our class was so close knit we worked out problems out in class.

The gardening project has been quite a success.  Recently, Mr. Foskett brought a group of students down to Ivy Creek to sell the flower and vegetable seedings that students started at Cedar Mountain.

CEDAR MOUNTAIN IS A WONDERFUL SCHOOL! THE TEACHERS HERE DO A VERY PHENOMENAL JOB AT MAKING SURE THIER STUDENTS GET THE EDUCATION THEY NEED TO MOVE TO THE NEXT GRADE. WE ALSO HAVE A LOT OF FUN DAYS AT THIS SCHOOL TOO. WE PLAY SPORTS AND SOMETIMES WE TAKE TRIPS TO DIFFERENT PLACE. OUR PRINCIPAL MISS JUDY IS AN WONDERFUL PERSON I LOVE HER AND I LOVE GOING TO CEDAR MOUNTAIN SCHOOL.
